Toasted Muesli
This is a delicious way to start your day.
Ingredients
¼ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup honey
3 cups jumbo rolled oats
½ cup coconut
½ cup wheatgerm
½ cup bran flakes
½ cup sesame seeds
½ cup broken macadamia nuts
½ cup cashews
1 cup sultanas
½ cup broken banana chips
Method
Heat oven to 150’C: bake setting
Line a large baking dish with baking paper
Combine oats, coconut, wheatgerm, bran, sesame seeds & nuts in a large mixing bowl
Gently heat oil, sugar and honey until the sugar has dissolved
Pour heated mixture over dry ingredients and mix to combine
Turn into prepared baking tray
Gently turn every 10 minutes
Bake 35-45 minutes until golden and toasted
Cool
Add sultanas and banana chips and store in an airtight container
