Almond Toffee
An old family recipe from your Great-Grandma, May Chamberlin and a firm favourite of Uncle Mike who has been known to hide his birthday batch!
Ingredients
225 grams butter
300 grams brown sugar
2 ½ tablespoons honey
700 grams toasted almonds
Method
Line sponge roll tin with baking paper
Gently boil butter, sugar and honey for 10 minutes
Remove from heat
Add almonds and stir to combine
Allow to cool before breaking into pieces
Store in an airtight container
