Savoury Cheddar Chip Biscuits
Makes 24 pieces
This recipe is originally from the eternally welcoming and hospitable Riri Stark. I was one of her french language students. For many years I met with her regularly and shared two passions - food and the french language. She was the most wonderful teacher of both.
Ingredients
1 I large packet salt and vinegar crisps
2 c grated tasty cheese
1 cup plain flour
generous pinch cayenne pepper
115 g butter - melted
Method
Preheat the oven to 150’C
Line a tray with baking paper
Crush the chips then add cheese, flour and cayenne and mix well
Add the melted butter and stir to combine
Roll into small balls, place on baking tray and press down with a fork - leaving space between biscuits
Put the tray in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
